This hotel is located in the heart of Barrio Amón. The original house was built in 1910 by a wealthy Spanish immigrant coffee baron, Cipriano Herrero del Peral. In 1993, renovation and remodeling began to transform the old house into a unique hotel, preserving the architectural beauty of the building and its historic value. Named a National Landmark by the Minister of Culture, the high ceilings, arches, and stained glass windows all aid in creating a warm Victorian atmosphere. Decoration and other fine elements, such as English-style furniture, contrast sharply with the tropical flower gardens.
