Established in 1993, the Yokosuka Prince is both a city hotel and a resort facility with 160 rooms. It is situated on top of Bay Square Yokosuka, which is a leisure and entertainment center. The center includes the Yokosuka Art Theater, which can accommodate 1,800 people for an opera. The center's smaller theater, the Yokosuka Bayside Pocket is cozier, and can hold 500.

In the hotel building is the Industrial Exchange Plaza where corporate training facilities as well as general business meetings are held. In addition to the eight function rooms, at 527 square meters, there is the Miura, the largest reception hall. Full wedding services for either Christian or Shinto ceremonies can be arranged.
Special Feature
On the upper floors, three dining venues all have magnificent ocean and city vistas. The "Top of Yokosuka Sky Lounge"; the Japanese restaurant Hagoromo (reservations mandatory), specializes in traditional kaiseki. The "Marine Court Restaurant" is known for its Western and Japanese buffets for breakfast or lunch.
