Beautiful place, full breakfast, calm comfort
We stayed at Bahama House for about a week, and it felt like home. Breakfast every morning was served on the patio, and it was a full breakfast. The view from the sitting area was great for having a quiet drink, watching the sunset, just relaxing. There were several 'public' areas - the one where the view was best, the one with tables for eating, indoors was the living room, and a separate little library. It felt like visiting someone's home, and we were not confined to our room as happens in hotels & motels. Convenient location. When we arrived on the water taxi with our luggage, and asked a taxi driver to take us . . . there was a moment of staring, and then it was revealed that the Bahama House Inn was just a block up the street and around the corner.
