Located in the Southern Alps and on the shore of Lake Wanaka is Whare Kea Lodge. Both in summer and in winter, the lodge is the best way to discover the treasures of nature. It is just a 7 kilometre drive from Wanaka and an hour away from Queenstown. Whare Kea has its own helipad. Upto 12 guests can occupy two master suites and four double rooms. Each room has access onto the sun deck and lawns. Life can get busy here with all the heliskiing and resort skiing, trout fishing, hiking and climbing, touring vineyard, and visiting cafes and shops. Deluxe rooms are for NZD500 per person per night, while master suites are NZD700 per person per night.
