This lodge was originally built for the Banning Brothers who owned the island in 1910. Nowadays, it is a delightful lodge with 11 rooms. It sits on the top of a hill overlooking Two Harbors Village and has great views of Catalina Harbor. There is a trellised courtyard where you can sip cool drinks and enjoy the sunshine and aromatic air. It really is a lodge, so you can sit by the fire or head to the Sun Room with a book or a newspaper. All of the rooms have private baths. This is a great way to step into a time gone by and get away from it all.
