NEVER AGAIN!
There is nothing to do at this hotel except swim {off a VERY rocky beach}. The management isn`t friendly or attentive. It will cost you a MINIMUM of $60.00 per day for taxi service to get to a neighboring island to find a little entertainment. I was so unhappy w/ my stay there that I couldn`t wait to come home .. & it was only 28 degrees where I live! It`s very over priced for the so called service & amenities! I was badly injured on the property & not offered so much as a band aid. NOT WORTH THE TRIP!!!

The Cove, Eleuthera
This was our first experience with island trips, and it was one of the best vacations ever! The rooms are modest, but very nice and clean. The grounds are immaculate and the view is gorgeous. We stayed during the off season and enjoyed the private beach and snorkeling. The sunsets are unbelievable! The restaurant serves good food, with prices that you can expect on an island where everything has to be imported, but manageable. This is not a luxury resort. This is a great place to relax and truly have your partner's attention. The sounds of the splashing waves against the rocks is something that stays with you even after the trip. Very relaxing. We rode bicycles into town and explored a little. The people are very nice and friendly. The local bakery doesn't look like anything amazing, but their pineapple pastries kept us coming back. Elvina's Place is a must if you want to get the scoop on what's happening on the island or anywhere else. We picked up some snacks in town for light meals, but we ate dinner at The Cove restaurant almost every night. The owners are very down to earth and encourage you to stay on the property, so you'll eat there. There is virtually no crime on the island. The doors to our rooms didn't lock from the outside, only from the inside.Think ahead when packing and remember lots of sunscreen, bug spray, and anything else you might need. It's expensive on an island! Don't bother packing your dressy clothes because you won't need them. Bring snacks instead. If you have a stressful job and a stressful life, this is the place where you will rediscover yourself. By the time we came home, we were seriously questioning our way of life.
