we wouldn't stay anywhere else!
Oh my gosh, what a great place. We arrived late at night looking for a place to stay and they even matched a rate from another hotel that I was headed too. Free rollaway cribs for families and lovely antique elevator makes your San Francisco experience even better. We would never stay anywhere else. The rooms are small, but you're never there anyways, and they're super clean.

My choice for Friends and family...
I was married in San Francisco in March of 2006 and chose the Andrews hotel as my base camp for all of my realitives. The low rates make it an easy hotel to stay in, and you are so centrally located...Union Square can be scary only one or two blocks off the square. Close to a ton of restaurants, even Vino the restaurant in the hotel is nice. Rooms are small and european in style. But let's face it. If you are in San Francisco, you are here to enjoy the city... you won't be in your room long!

An historical hideaway in downtwon San Francisco
the Andrews Hotel is a charming, historical hideaway nearby Union Square in San Francisco. The room was well-appointed, the bed was comfy with nice linens. We loved the old photographs of the City and the convenience of the location. Sorry to say that the desk clerk was aloof and disinterested in us.
