A rarity in Dublin, the Albany House is completely non-smoking. That aside, it is also a lovely 18th-century house hotel just south of St. Stephen's Green, and is thus, very centrally located. Welcoming and comfortable, the blazing log fire will make you smile after a hard day's sightseeing or shopping. The rooms are simple, decorated with Georgian antiques and all have en-suite showers or baths. The whole house has been lovingly preserved and it is a great place for getting away from the sometimes hectic pace of Dublin. To top it all off, breakfast, which is included, is terrific, complete with homemade bread.
