Adjoining the Kennet and Avon canal where brightly colored narrow boats and pleasure craft still glide gracefully by, Ravenscroft is a spacious house but offers only two letting rooms. Thus, guests can be assured of a warm welcome and the personal attention of the proprietors. The house dates from Victorian times and is built to resemble an Italian villa but with 19th century proportions. This establishment offers great value for money and is situated in a fine area of the city, just a flat walk from all the attractions. Like a large number of other smaller establishments, Ravenscroft is closed over the Christmas period.
