Staying at Hostel Lotsen is a pleasant and economical alternative to staying in any small dingy hostel. You will have to bring some of your own amenities though, like bedcovers and towels. The hostel is surrounded by water and other archipelago buildings, and is accessible by both car and boat. The name Lotsen, 'The Pilot', comes from the old pilot boat, that used to help other boats through the Archipelago. It is open through the year.

The surroundings of this hostel are unique. It is an old fishing village and there will be ample opportunity to fish and swim in the Baltic Sea. It is a very picturesque area with shops, restaurants, and a museum. In winter, you can skate on the ice of the Baltic Sea.
