Established in 1994, Black Sand Beach Motel is wholly owned by Tuan Haji Abdul Hamid. This family-run motel is located about 20 kilometers, which is just about 30 minutes' drive from Kuah Jetty. You will not find the kind of facilities offered by larger hotels or motels, however it is suitable for short stays and for those who are not looking for luxury. One advantage of the motel is its location close to many places of interest such as the Black Sand Beach, Air Hangat Village, Crocodile Farm, Temurun Waterfalls and Galeria Perdana.
