There are over 200 Travelodges in the UK and Ireland and they all look pretty much the same - clean, comfortable, respectable and slightly bland (if you're looking for character, try elsewhere). They can be a bargain though - you pay per room, not per person, so for a family of four staying in one of its family rooms, it works out as very reasonable. This one is attached to The Lamb and Flag pub/restaurant, almost opposite Bristol's largest shopping centre, known as The Mall at Cribbs Causeway. It's also only a few yards from Junction 17 of the M5, so very handy for those needing quick motorway access.
