The name of this hotel, Galim (waves), refers to the fact that it is a two minute walk from the beach. With this in mind, the less savoury aspects of this budget hotel can easily be countenanced. It is located on the funky, tourist-oriented stretch of Allenby, and the walls don't provide much of a buffer against the street noise. However, the place is well-kept, and there's a kitchen on the premises. The management is professional, though their English is poor; they also speak Spanish, French and German. No credit cards are accepted.
