Although a bit more downmarket, the area of La Bocca, just a few minutes' drive from Cannes, is still regarded as part of the festival city. This one-star hotel, situated on a wide avenue, is easy to get to. Not much to look at, Neptune doesn't have any special facilities but does offer good value for money. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast costs around EUR5.50. Room prices are higher during Festival Season, when a three-night minimum stay is in effect; be sure to book well in advance.
