The Avlonya Hotel is a simple two-star hotel, open all year round, which caters mainly to business people passing through the mad metropolis. Aksaray is a meeting point for those interested in buying leather and the area is therefore full of curt Russians and Armenians plying their trade along both sides of the busy main street.
