This is an English Tourist Board two crown commended bed and breakfast hotel within walking distance of Newcastle's busy city centre, and conveniently close to the West Jesmond Metro station. The Eldon is a large, semi-detached Edwardian building, with classical decor. The traditionally decorated bedrooms are very comfortable, each with television and hospitality tray provided. The staff are unusually friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to grant your wishes (including checking in at 8am if that is what you want).
