In the golden times when Berlin was still an island and everything was still alright, this restaurant was a big chain and famous for it's cheap and simple local dishes. Today, when the wall has been down for many years, the chain has almost disappeared and prices have risen, but the food is still "jut und nischt zu meckern" (good and nothing to complain about), as the typical Berliner might say. The range of starters is rather modest, but there is quite a good salad dish with turkey slices for EUR7. Main dishes are, however, more usually EUR4-EUR11.
