Canterbury's first vineyard restaurant, Larcomb, is situated in the dry, stony area of Rolleston. Just off the main road south of the city, the vineyard's cellar and restaurant are located in a large, rustic farm shed. With plenty of picnic tables and lawn outside, the vineyard is a great place to while away a summer afternoon, wine tasting and dining on a healthy platter-style lunch. Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are all produced at this small vineyard.
