For those who wish to relive the feelings of the early twentieth-century travellers who arrived by train and ate by station, here is a place which retains that genuine atmosphere. This house has been distinguished with the Diploma al Mérito Turístico and the 1983 and 1989 plaque. Walls are covered with paintings and there are signed pictures of artists and writers. Opened in 1939, it offers honest, straightforward cooking prepared with affection and quality ingredients. Ingenuity is apparent in their chard with almond sauce, scrambled eggs with cod and roast lamb. There's a daily set menu. From among the wines we should feature Coto de Hayas, and for dessert, peaches in red wine.
