Near the Pilar basilica and housed in an old historic building that used to be a convent, one can almost picture the ghosts of Goya and Bayeu sashaying around the tables. Your guests will be captivated by the private dinning-rooms and the traditional Aragonese style decor. They offer a sample menu named Tomas de la Bastilla (a pun based on two possible meanings of toma, to storm, and to have or eat) consisting of four hors d'oeuvres, a main dish, dessert and wine, or a menu from which you may savour sea bream baked in crust of salt, lamb ribs and homemade ice-cream. The house wines are del Vero (Somontano). Varied clientele: from executives in their fifties to young women in their twenties.

average cost: EUR 24
