The Bräustuben, situated right by the Augustiner Brewery, is as yet undiscovered by tourists and the atmosphere amongst the students and regulars who patronise the pub is much more typical than at other nearby establishments. The decor is simple and rustic, the local food cheap and good, the portions generous. And if you didn't know it before, you'll notice that Bavarians love their food and drink!
