This little restaurant is tucked away in a residential area of Cozumel. It serves good, everyday Yucatecán food such as Panuchos (fried tortillas covered in chicken, avocado) and Pollo en Relleno Negro (chicken in a black chile sauce). In addition, this eatery serves a few traditional Arabian dishes. El Turix is a clean, quaint spot with simple wooden tables that make for a casual, comfortable dining experience. The owners, Rafael and Maruca, will give you a hearty welcome.
