This is another of the family run restaurants on Cozumel. El Abuelo Gerado is Spanish for grandfather Gerard and you can well imagine the patriarch and his family gathering here to enjoy some of the excellent regional food. The fish and seafood is always fresh and the Grilled Shrimp are particularly wonderful. This restaurant has become so popular that it expanded from six tables to twenty since it opened in 1995. Expect warm service, a congenial atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices.
