Set in the heart of the city, the Chalet defies progress and rightly so—not for it the airy openness of modern restaurants with their oils, dressings and balsamic vinegars (whatever next!). Instead, what you'll get here is the finest example of traditional Ulster cuisine. Don't be fooled by other bars and restaurants offering the Famous Fry—they won't do it right. Other delicacies on the menu include egg, bacon, chips or sausage and chips and all very reasonably priced as well. If you're on a visit—well, you've got to try it once and see if you think the fuss is worth it! Be careful with the old arteries, however.
