Try the "Jarocha" delicacies from Mexico's Veracruz province at this reasonably priced and popular restaurant. Taste test the assorted way in which tortillas and tacos are prepared in a combination platter. This includes a couple of chicken and beef Sopes, an enormous bean-filled Gorda (fat tortilla), a cheese-filled Quesadilla, a chicken Tostada and a Pellizcada (assorted appetizers) garnished with dollops of cream and abundant cheese. Follow up with a classic Chilpachole de Jaiba (Spicy Crap soup) or Tlalpeño (spicy vegetable broth with rice, avocado and chicken). Don't miss the savory Molcajete Conejo (Rabbit served in a traditional three-legged mortar with red sauce, fresh cilantro and cheese). Jarocho troubadours and Trios wander the tables serenading from 2p-10p daily.
