Located on the famous Southport restaurant row, Blue Bayou is famous for its Cajun food and Karaoke nights. A completely rustic decor, the colorful and rustic interiors are done up with mementos of New Orleans and mardi gras beads. Apart from the traditional fare of jambalaya, fried catfish and oysters, it serves a variety of savories, such as fried green tomatoes, sweet potatoes, crawfish, and gumbo. During the sports season, the place is packed with fans trying to catch the game on the huge TV set with a drink from the bar's extensive list.
