If you visit Mexico City, you must dine at El Cardenal at least once. Although located in the modern Sheraton Centro Histórico Hotel, El Cardenal's traditional Mexican offerings attract more natives than tourists. Popular dishes include Gorditas Hidalguenses and the Aporreado con Huevo. The menu changes monthly to feature the freshest vegetables and fish in season.
