The Grove Cafe is a generous slice of pure San Francisco. It has a nice rustic feel and as friendly a vibe as you will find anywhere in the city. Dead center in the Marina at the corner of Chestnut & Avila, the spot has lots of outdoor seating and on any given weekend there's a generous mix of patrons, young singles, parents with toddlers in strollers, seniors. The Grove Cafe's fare is as inviting as it locale -- great breakfast with the likes of Eggs Florentine, Huevos Rancheros, or Steak & Egg Bagel. For luncheon and later, the Phillmore Cheesesteak, Smoked Salmon Platter, or Grilled Garden Cheeseburger, will make your mouth water just reading their ingredients! BTW The Grove Cafe is a WiFi hotspot and folks are always angling in and out laptops at the ready, adding to the friendly atmosphere.
