Established in 1935, this restaurant is known as one of the best purveyors of traditional Puebla-style cuisine. The location is not particularly spacious, but the decor is reminiscent of a pretty colonial house. A small patio leads to a more private area, which serves as the bar. The waitresses wear authentic "china poblana" dresses and the restaurant serves only the specialities of the state. The Mole Poblano and Chili in Nut Sauce, available only seasonally, are a must. The restaurant also has a small shop that sells sweetmeats typical of the region.
