An old-style Irish bar that's most welcoming if you feel you need to take a break from city centre shopping. Look out for the inbuilt chess boards on the tables should you fancy a little mental exercise. Food is served downstairs but the main restaurant, which has received the "Taste of Ulster" accolade, is upstairs. Expect to dine with anyone from students to families, office workers and their bosses. On offer is solid fare, locally sourced where possible, with a dash of things just a little more exotic. Traditional fish and steak meals are this restaurant's strength, though the extensive menu also borrows from Mexico and Asia. Food is served all day.
