Lehtovaara seems to be a legendary restaurant in this part of Helsinki. Although its décor seems to be a bit on the poor side, otherwise it is completely satisfactory. Lunchtime in this restaurant is very quiet, but as night starts to fall and people get out of work, it starts to fill up. The set lunch is plenty. For starters you can help yourself from the cutlet buffet table, which consists of meat, fish and other delicacies. After that, choose one of the four main courses, and a dessert to go with it. Another favourite at Lehtovaara seems to be the so-called Chef's recommendation. This also consists of three courses: for example, pheasant soup for a starter, the Chateaubriand as a main course, and a raspberry cheesecake for dessert.
