The Abajeño Campestre is one of the favorite and more traditional restaurants of Tlaquepaque, located in its city centre. On an immense tree-filled terraza (terraced outdoor space), diners enjoy typical Mexican cuisine, including famous dishes such as the birria, the barbacoa and the pork meat prepared as carnitas, accompanied by the joy of the mariachi and the nostalgia of the trio. A folkloric ballet performs every Saturday and Sunday at 4pm. Located less than an hour's drive from Guadalajara, it is highly recommended and entertaining. Private parking is available.
