Jacques, located in the Theater District, draws people from all walks of life. It used to mainly be a gay hangout, but that has changed somewhat. It has two floors where the entertainment line splits. In the upstairs Jacques Cabaret segment the drag queens and female impersonators perform while downstairs it is a rock 'n roll haven. "House artist" Rick Berlin (of Luna fame) keeps things interesting as well. Cash only; credit cards not accepted. Cover charge varies; call ahead for performance schedules.
