This park, located next door to the Hilton Hotel, becomes Tel Aviv’s gay cruising ground at night. By coincidence (or planning!) Jerusalem’s gay cruising area is in a park by hte very same name. In 1999, a book by this title was published in English, detailing the lives of gay men in Israel. The beach underneath the park becomes Tel Aviv’s informal gay beach in the summer months and is popular with both locals and tourists.
