Wooden Horse, carpeted in wall-to-wall red carpeting, is pretty quiet on weeknights when it is a good choice for a mellow place to have some cocktails and quiet conversation. However, on drag show nights, the volume tends to climb a bit, as does the energy level not to mention the noise level. The fiercely competitive contests have been known to get downright loud (and very fun).
