The Palacio de los Deportes has distinguished itself for some time for the diversity and size of its exhibits. The space is huge, and often features widespread exhibits as well as sales. Every year, on the second week in May, The Week of Yucatan in Mexico takes place. This is an exhibit of crafts, tourism, culture, trade and the fish industry. Among the products you will find furniture and hammocks, plus excellent gastronomic samples which include the delicacies of the Peninsula. Every day there is a show at 7pm with traditional dance and regional music. Admission to the exhibit area is free, and tickets for the shows are 50 pesos.
