Tamales are one of the most consumed foods in our country. Each region prepares them with a diversity of ingredients, but in general they are made with ground corn cooked with hot sauce and meat. At this annual exhibit you will find tamales from the states of Chiapas (some prepared with Iguana meat), Guerrero, Michoacán (also called Corundas) Tabasco, Yucatán and Puebla. But that is not all, other Latin-American countries also bring their versions. You will also find the participation of Nicaragua, Argentina, Bolivia, Honduras, Chile and Peru. Admission is free.
