In Geneva, a market is held in different areas of the city each day. On a nice day it is lovely to stroll through this local market and mingle with the crowd. Listen to the vendors as they sell their produce, be tempted by the wonderful fresh, multi-coloured seasonal vegetables, fruits, cheese, and flowers. Enjoy a nice glass of Swiss wine, or a meal at one of the cafés or restaurants nearby. Wherever you are staying, you will probably find that there is a market in your area at least once a week.
