Every year in October, Bonn has a fish weekend. Stalls and stands from all of Germany and beyond stand row by row on the Bonn Münsterplatz and the Bad Godesburg 'Theaterplatz'. All the stalls offer fish specialities from their region. The well-known fish merchants Gosch aus Westerland/Sylt are represented here, among others. The atmosphere is similar to the bustle at a big market. Everyone extols the virtues of their wares and shouts them out in the the market. You can also find a couple of bread and vegetable stalls here.
