This market has been designed exclusively for overseas visitors. Come here to see the kimchi-making process and taste some of the many varieties available. Kimchi--spicy pickled vegetables, usually cabbage--is a staple of the Korean diet, eaten as a side dish or incorporated in the main dish at any meal. In addition to kimchi, you can also buy salted fish preserve, red pepper paste, dried seaweed, ginseng, and traditional Korean liquor. The pottery on display is also for sale.
