December 13th is the feast day of Santa Llucia, patron saint of fashion designers and blind people, who gather at the Santa Llucia chapel in the cathedral to pay their respects. Outside the cathedral you'll find market stalls selling Christmas goods like trees, decorations, nativity scenes and sweets. Alongside them are other stands where you can buy various festive arts and crafts that make great presents for friends and family. The atmosphere is joyously festive but it is best to avoid weekends when there are simply too many people. Admission is free.
