Atac: This company runs an urban public transport system for the whole of Rome. Its orange buses cover the whole of the region. There are 234 bus routes and 6 tram routes which run from 5.30am to midnight. The nightbus service can be distinguished by the prominent letter 'N' which is on display, and runs from 12.10am to 5.30am. The No.110 bus operates a daily tourist route which lasts for two hours and covers the capital's historic city centre. It leaves from Termini Station at 2.30pm in winter and 3.30pm in summer. COTRAL: As well as running the metro service, this company also runs a bus and tram service which links the capital with other major regional centres. Changes can be made at the following stations (which are also metro stations): Flaminio, Trastevere, Ostiense, Tuscolana, Termini and Tiburtina. COTRAL also runs three other lines: Roma-Pantano (RP), Roma-Lido di Ostia (RO) and Roma Nord (RN). Trains on the Roma-Lido di Ostia and Roma-Nord lines leave every fifteen minutes from 5.30am to 10.30pm. On the Roma-Lido di Ostia route, the night service (12.30am-5am) is replaced by the 80N bus. On the Roma-Pantano line, trains stop running at 9.30pm.
