If you want to move on from Costa Rica, there are basically two travel options; bus or plane. Budget travellers or those with plenty of time to explore Central America, will probably want to take the bus. It is not fast, but it will get you there. Buses leave for Panama City at 10p and arrive about 18 hours later. Pack a snack and some bottled water, as roadside diners are not always as clean as they should be.
