The main railway station in Cardiff is situated in the heart of the city, next to the bus station and within sight of the Millennium Stadium. A concourse leads into a waiting area with full train information, a newsagents and book shop and a cafe bar. Individual platforms also have waiting rooms, toilets and snack shops. There are often long queues for tickets, so it's adviseable to come early to ensure plenty of time. You can also buy advance tickets at the station - often cheaper than buying a ticket on the day.
