Special air-conditioned coaches ("frescões") are operated by this service, between the City Centre and Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Gávea, Jardim Botânico, Botafogo, São Conrado and Barra da Tijuca. Coaches depart every 15 minutes, on average (M-F) and every 30 minutes (Sa-Su). There is also a line connecting Leblon to the Novo Rio bus terminus, departing every 30 minutes. It also connects Barra da Tijuca (Alvorada) along the seaside to the International and Santos Dumont airports via Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana, departing every 30 minutes M-F and every 40 minutes Sa-Su, and the two airports departing every 20 minutes M-F and every 30 minutes Sa-Su.
