Wales and West trains run from Bath Spa station. They offer a local service and stop at Oldfield Park Station on the west of Bath as well as many of the surrounding towns such as Keynsham, Chippenham and Frome. Although primarily a local service, the trains also travel to the major cities of Bristol and Cardiff. A new initiative has led to bus-train tickets being issued which allow the passenger to use a Wales and West train in conjunction with a Badgerline bus to travel to many of the suburbs of Bath and also Radstock and Midsomer Norton. All carriages are non-smoking. Cycles can be transported on the train subject to advance reservation.
