Buses provide inexpensive transport from downtown Freeport to the Port Lucaya Marketplace everyday till 10p. This route is well-covered by mass transit, but if you're looking to go else where on the island a rental car or taxi is recommended. A wait for a bus could take a while off this route. Nonetheless, when staying in the general vicinity of Freeport/Lucaya the buses get you where you want to go. Taxis could cost up to and over ten times that. Note please: Tender exact change.
