A very good road network connects Riyadh with all the cities in the country. SAPTCO, the National bus service, provides services to almost all the centers in the country at cheap rates. SAPTCO has also developed services such as the non-stop VIP services between Riyadh and Al Khobar: they are super luxury buses, running between terminals at hotels, charging a premium fare and serving light meals enroute. Women are the major bus-users, as they are not provided driving licenses. Unrelated men and women are not allowed to travel together by any public transport.
