Bank notes are available in the following denominations: GBP50, GBP20, GBP10, GBP5. Coins are available in the following: GBP2, GBP1, 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, 2p and 1p. In addition, there is a GBP1 note issued by the Bank of Scotland that is also legal tender in British cities. The banks in Bath are generally open Monday to Friday from 9:30a to 3:30p. Some banks open on a Saturday morning or offer extended opening hours until 5p.
