The Bank of New York (BNY) offers full retail banking services at dozens of branches across New York City. Most of these branches have ATM (automated teller machine) service. They also offer full teller services, including currency exchange and traveler’s checks, as well as loans, credit, personal banking and investment services. BNY is the oldest bank in the United States, having been founded by American patriot Alexander Hamilton in 1784.
